Car rental companies require drivers to provide a valid driver's license, major credit card belonging to the designated driver (Discover and debit cards are NOT accepted), and meet a minimum age requirement. Your designated driver is the first passenger listed in your booking. Rental car companies typically charge an additional fee for a secondary driver.
